REVIEW: Prenatal Visions, West Des Moines

A 3D and 4D ultrasound provider, Prenatal Visions makes their machines and technicians available to those of us with stingy obstetricians who consider ultrasounds unnecessary.

Short story: I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it to expecting moms.

Long story: First off, I was 10 minutes late. And the woman at the front desk, who was with us from sign-in to sign-out, didn’t make one single sigh or eye roll.

Then, after very fully explaining their services and answering my stupid questions with tremendous patience, she took me in for the exam. Then, right before my very eyes, good customer service transformed into even better bedside manner.

Now lying on my back with my big fat tummy poking in the air, I was feeling vulnerable… not to mention a little cold. And she says, “Wow, that’s a really nice belly for this being your second child.” A complement!?! Talk about icing on the cake.

Even though we got this amazing shot of our son-to-be and his adorable little mug, she wasn’t satisfied.

Because the baby had his hands in front of his face for most of the session, she’s letting us come back in three weeks for another photo shoot… for free!

I also used Prenatal Vision. I went for gender determination early on and then went later in my pregnancy to get more of the 3D/4D pictures. It was a little too late to get a great picture because she was too big and pushing against my stomach, but got some great shots. But she still wasn't happy and didn't charge me for it. I've recommended her to a ton of people. AND she had a basket of candybars under the bed - perfect for preggos!! I highly recommend using them.
