REVIEW: Action Accents
Submitted by Waterbury Mom
Since the birth of #2 last year, I have avoided all situations that require a swimsuit. Up until now I have been successful at putting my husband in charge of all swimsuit events. That worked fine until I scheduled us to spend a long weekend at friend’s cabin in Wisconsin.
We leave on Thursday, so I found myself in desperate need of a suit, so after hearing their commercials every morning on Today in Iowa, I headed to Action Accents in search of a suit.
I was greeted at the door by the owner (I knew it was her from the commercials). I told her what I needed (1 piece with LOTS of support). We headed to the racks, she grabbed 4 or 5 suits and took me to the dressing room area.
I poked my head out after every suit to find her smiling face with lots of positive feedback. Another saleswoman walked by and said, “That suit is too big,” which is music to any girl’s ear, so she went a grabbed a few more in a smaller size.
I tried those on and was pleasantly surprised to find the perfect suit in a smaller size. I was in and out with a new swimsuit in less than a half an hour.
I will never buy a swimsuit anywhere else.
Just a warning, you will not find a bargain swimsuit (a la Old Navy) here, but I think my suit, along with the customer service I received is well worth the $90 I paid for it.
Now, if only I could find a bra store like that…
I had to buy a strapless for a wedding once, and Stacy's Lingerie was great.
