REVIEW: Portraits by Gerilynn

We tried a new studio this week, Portraits by Gerilynn. While she is new to the area, that hasn't kept her schedule from filling up. In fact, she seems to be the new "it" baby photographer.

Her studio is being designed as we speak, so she suggested meeting at Thomas Mitchell Park in Altoona. I wasn't so sure about outside photos since my baby isn't sitting yet. But this was no problem for Gerilynn! She had some brilliant ideas, and the pictures turned out tremendously.

Above all, I appreciated Gerilynn's ability to be flexible (not only in scheduling, but on the shoot, as well). She was willing to do whatever it took to make the baby comfortable... something more baby photographers need to learn. She was also dead-on when it came to clicking that shutter. She never missed a beat... a smile... or a cock of the head. Perfect.
