REVIEW: Yost Family Chiropractic

I have had chronic back pain since high school and had just learned to live with it.

When I became pregnant, I decided to check out chiropractic care and went to Yost Family Chiropractic.
I began receiving care from Dr. Heather when I was approximately mid-pregnancy. 

Prior to starting care, my friend told me that seeing a chiropractor would help with a quick delivery and effective contractions.

After talking with Dr. Heather for the first time, I realized that there were many more benefits to chiropractic care other than a speedy delivery.

She spent time listening to me and reviewing my health and back pain. She completed a detailed assessment of my spine and neck and explained each area of concern to me. After my initial visit, I began seeing Dr. Heather regularly and did not experience one day of back pain during my pregnancy. And yes, my delivery was quick!

My daughter sees Dr. Heather as well. Each time that my daughter is cared for by Dr. Heather, she is more relaxed and a seemingly a calmer baby. Dr. Heather greets, holds and talks to her as though she is her own and listens to my fears and concerns as a mother.

I was apprehensive about taking such a delicate and precious treasure to be adjusted but after voicing my anxiety, Dr. Heather validated them and walked me through every step of her adjustment. In addition to having a healthier baby, I continue to sleep and feel better with the continued care that I receive from Yost Family Chiropractic.

Yost Family Chiropractic is a family place whose doctors are committed to each and every patient they treat. The results from continued chiropractic care are apparent in my family and we will continue to see Dr. Heather as long as we can.

Dr Heather has been providing our family's chiropractic care for over four years now. We first started seeing her mainly for my son who, as an infant, had a problem with his neck related to an auto accident I'd had while pregnant.

Now we see Dr Heather mainly to maintain our health, but she's also our first call when we start to feel ill. She provided excellent care throughout my recent pregnancy, and checked our new daughter within a day of her birth.

The whole office staff is delightful, and the care really is so personal. Dr. Heather is not just a health care provider to our family, she has become a friend. I recommend her and her office without reservation.

I have to agree with both of you as well! Chiropractic care throughout pregnancy is so important and has been a tremendous help to me. Dr. Heather is so wonderful, knowledgable and understanding!

One thing a lot of people don't realize is how important it is for a baby to be adjusted as soon as possible. They go through a lot of stress in the delivery process and need to be adjusted in order to feel better. You will benefit by having a calmer baby.

Not all chiropractors are the same! Yost Family Chiropractic has such a nice atmosphere and Dr. Heather really goes out of her way to help her patients in whatever way she can. She truly cares! You can't find that kind of care anywhere.

I totally agree! First of all I want to say that the office is great. I have been having headaches two or three times a week for several years now. Because of the pain, all I wanted to do was sleep, and it was hard to even think when they were really bad.

My husband was great to help with the kids but I was missing too much of the fun parts, lying in my dark quiet room. I had tried everything and my doctor was at loss, as to why nothing was helping.

A friend suggested chiropractic and I thought, what do I have to lose. Anyway, when I went in everyone was so friendly and it was a very warm environment. Everything that they did was explained to me (wow I learned a lot) and with my first adjustment I felt better. After several more, my headaches weren't as bad, and they were happening less often.

I havent had a headache in three months (yea!!), and I owe it all to Dr. Heather and Dr. Nicole. They are life savers.

My daughter also loves going in with me, she looks forward to my visits almost as much as I do. She talks about Dr. Heather, Dr. Nicole and Katie all the time (I have even heard her calling and talking to them on her toy cell phone), and we have coloring pages all over our fridge that we put up as soon as we get home.

Yost Chiropractic is a very kid-friendly place, and we love it!
